I love a good pencil skirt for work. I think there is just something so classic and feminine about them. Of course I have my basic blacks, brown, navys, and greys…but this spring I’m really loving punches of color and prints!

After all…if you’ve been working on those legs, now is the time to show them off! Goodbye hose…see you next fall.
If you’re tuning in from Nashville this morning, can I get a heck yeah for some snow? Now if it was just enough that I was still on my couch and not heading to the office. Tis life.
We ALL love the adorable Blair over ay Atlantic-Pacific. I dream of her closet. If you’re on pinterest, you’ve probably pinned at least 5 of her outfits and didn’t even know it. This little gem popped up a few weeks ago and it made me feel all cozy inside. It’s been too warm to replicate recently, so when I woke up to snow I knew the time had arrived!
I chose skinnies over boyfriends and tall boots over heels for an office appropriate casual Friday. I’ll be holed up in an office all day working on a project anyway. Cheers to a cozy, casual Friday!!!
From my closet:
Loft, no longer available. Mine is cream.
Guess jeans, fit like a glove
Nine West, no longer available
All paired with some gold and some tortoise!
Big news coming tonight….yesssssssssss
You know you have a “style” when your sister puts up a pic on twitter saying “I look like my sister tonight #skinnyjeans #heels #bigsweater”. Busted, yet so true.
What can I say? I know I work hard on these legs, so I try to accentuate them. I know the crop top look will never be for me. There’s just something about long ass legs and a short torso that make crop tops look BEYOND awkward. You’ll usually find me in dresses (esp at work)…but if not…it’s:
Spring = Skinny jeans, wedges, dressy Ts
Summer = Shorts, wedges, dressy Ts
Fall = Skinny jeans, heels, blouse
Winter = Skinny jeans, heeled boots, big sweater
In case you need some “visual” examples…I think I’ve worn just about ALL of these looks.
You really should be voting today…not preparing for your Saturday tailgate. Save that planning for tomorrow.
So today break out something red (or blue) to show your support for your favorite “team”. I chose Ralph Lauren either way…that man knows how to dress a woman! Hence the heavy collection in my closet…
It’s cold, like really cold. Time to break out the warm gear…no reason to sacrifice a cute look.
I might even break this out Halloween night…get in the spirit a little!
I know that men hate the top knot, but I know that women dress for other women, not men. So break out that blogger bun and roll.
Time for another round…sorry I was MIA yesterday, and this morning. I really don’t want to talk about either. In good news, I’ll have another crock pot recipe for you tomorrow.
It’s fall fo real y’all…
With colored jeans being all the rage, and my personal fav, this week I’m showcasing them in one of my favorite colors 😉 Again, I try to keep my looks comfortable for all day tailgating yet cute enough to take you from game to after party/dinner/whatever.
I would consider my style preppy, not uber conservative…but preppy. On the weekends I may break out a trend or two, but at work I like to keep in clean and professional. I wanted to share an outfit from this week since I got a lot of compliments on it that day. Bathroom mirror photo coming your way! Dipping my toe a little bit into fall…

It’s that time of the year again peeps! Time to break out everything collegiate in your life and show your colors proudly! If your office has casual Fridays or if you’re like me and you pay (donate to charity) in order to wear jeans on Fridays, then that day is the perfect excuse to try out some game day looks. If you’re cheering for ole Rocky Top, then these posts are definitely geared towards you (pun fully intended).
Going a little Tennessee country on this one…love this look! You’ll see me wearing my boots to a lot of games since they’re comfy and I don’t care if some drunk
40 18 year old steps on them. Hey, we’ve all been there. As usual, click the clothing item to be taken to the website where you can purchase!
